Well, although I do not fully agree with the indignated Russian comments, the author’s so-called “jokes” are not correct at all. The author has no right to insult our country, which is neither better nor worse than the USA.
Please, show some respect and reason: do not provoke the Russians. We respect other cultures – why cannot you do the same thing?
As for laughing at peoples’ English, it is a dishonest thing: is *your* Russian any better?

Mike, keep “international” blogs coming! It is utterly amusing that russians have so much time on their hands for the national pride talk. I guess there are just so many of them somebody is bound to have internet connection and no job. How about arab flame war? These guys have even shorter temper and no sense of humor. (Note, I say “guys” as men only. Women would be beheaded for participating in discussion… or reading:))
P.S. Matryoshka is not really Russian art;concept was stolen from Japan. But I bet they take credit for both – matryoshka and shit that is.
P.P.S. I think I managed to insult two nations in one shot. Oh goody…
