Making this seemed like a good idea at the time, but it ended up sounding stilted and a little too sloppy. But the hour and a half spent on this will not die in vain, so download the first 57 seconds of Wilco's
Hummingbird and listen carefully – you'll be able to hear Wilco turning over in their graves.
I've recently achieved one of my long-standing goals – to build a
mini digital recording studio. I think it's every geek/musician's dream to be in a band where every member is himself, so that being said, I present to you my first recording ...
"The Self Indulgent Blues Jam." (Ironically, I'm playing everything except the drum loop...I'm also heavily ripping off Jimmy Smith and John Scofield licks, but shhhhhhh!)
Who says I don't live in a white neighborhood?

It just doesn't get any better than this:

How do all these spammers know I have a tiny penis?!?!
Over the weekend, Gabe and I (HI GABE!!!!!!!!) received one of the coolest presents ever. Our friend Amanda produced a lovely disaster mix for us - "The Silva/Solomon Tsunami Jamboree!" The mix CD is so astounding, not only have I included the playlist below, but I'm also adding some keywords so it gets ranked higher on Google.
Tsunami Album. Tsunami Mix. Tsunami Jamboree. Tsunami relief effort. How do I help the tsunami victims? I want to donate money to the tsunami relief effort. Penis Enlargement. Viagra.

If an alien civilization acquires only two objects from Earth to study – a diamond and a pearl – would they be able to tell that one was made by an animal and the other by a natural geological process? I think the answer is no, because when you take that far of a step back you see that a diamond and a pearl are simply two things that appear here on Earth. And a "natural" process is really the same as an "animal made" process – which in turn is the same as a "man made" process. Isn't a truffle the same as a freshly-squeezed glass of orange juice? If so, then what's the difference between a rock and an iPod? – we're the only creatures who can see a difference. So if one day aliens cruise by our little corner of the universe, they probably won't even recognize we're any different from the oceans or the trees.
Hey look, it's snowing.
Quick anonymous survey: Have you ever peed and brushed your teeth at the same time?

First, I let Todd Barry have it. Now Crossy: it's YOUR turn!!!!! Compare these two "fan photos" of David Cross. Granted, it must be difficult to come up with a witty original facial expression every time some camera-wielding schmuck comes your way, but c'mon, these two faces are
identical.
In related news, look at how much grayer David Cross' beard has become. He's finally either looking his age or feeling the unbearable weight of the universe on his shoulders. My money's on the universe one.
