Mining Bitcoin with Pencil and Paper

This is a pretty cool example of manually doing some of the math behind Bitcoin.

It’s interesting that SHA-256, the most advanced cryptographic hash function, really just works by reducing numbers to 1s and 0s, then scrambling them up.

    That is a really cool example of what the GPU’s are doing to mine bitcoins. I’ve been following the prices of different cryptocurrencies at https://cryptocurrency360.com to find the next coin for me to invest in.
