That first picture is one of the best pictures I’ve seen in a while.
What camera did you use for that? And how’d you get the effect?

Thanks DaveyBridges. I used a Canon 5D with a 17-40 lens, then bumped up the shadows and lowered the highlights in Lightroom, basically making a “high dynamic range” image form one file.
The last photo reminds me of this:

These are nice shots with a 5D but lets not get confused! theses are manipulated. Would be nice to see the original picture!

Yeah that first image is just amazing – the colors and tones are just incredible to look at – I want a desktop wallpaper of that! :)
